O’Brien Training was set up following 20 years of nursing experience and teaching the new nurses that would one day be looking after me. My love of teaching and getting the best from my learners blossomed and gave me the passion to give a new lease of life to teaching First Aid.

After sitting through many different courses over the years, I have developed my own style of teaching. I make sessions fun, interactive and enjoyable while always keeping the seriousness of the course content. This has proven to be the best way for my learners to understand and remember what we do in emergency situations, while attaining confidence.

O’Brien Training also believes in teaching children while they are young, basic first aid skills. With this vision, I have written courses for Reception Children (Aged 4-5 years) and Year 2 Children (aged 6-7 years). This has been well received and I hope to develop this further.

My mission is to support the development of First Aid skills that will be with you for life.
