Susan Rose China is a small British business which was started by Susan over 20 years ago because of her passion for history & British industry.

With her fascination & determination to learn about British manufacturing she taught herself to hand decorate tiles for a leading British tile manufacturer which led her into the English bone china industry based in Stoke.

This enabled Susan to fulfil her other great passion, nature & all things wild. From her home studio based in rural Northamptonshire, where she had already established herself as a successful painter & designer, she was able to combine her love for all thing British through handmade British giftware from the traditional English bone china industry to customers who were looking for something personalised & made in England.

Her best-selling design “a mug of history” has been a huge success for many corporate businesses from a humble wedding present to the larger corporate orders for many well-known & well-respected clients.

All her designs are hand made & hand decorated from her studio in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire.
