The Fearless Optimist was established based on a passion for innovation and an ambition to make sustainable, positive changes to health outcomes for future generations.

With experience of the NHS, Health Innovation Networks and private healthcare, I recognise the challenges and opportunities in improving the current systems, policies, research, information and education to better support health needs with a particular focus on women's health.

I describe myself as a 'specialist generalist' with a passion for joining the dots through collaboration, knowledge sharing, education and innovative projects that bring about sustainable change. I've never been one to follow a traditional career path but I do love to learn and I think that's why I find the area of innovation and health so fascinating as it is constantly evolving.

The Fearless Optimist came about as I wanted to diversify the work that I did and how I went about it.
